چکیده

Electron density (or electron concentration) is a critical metric for characterizing the ionosphere’s mobility. Shortwave technologies, remote sensing systems, and satellite communications—all rely on precise estimations of in ionosphere. Using profiles from FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (Constellation Observation System Meteorology, Ionosphere, Climate) 2006 to 2013, four-dimensional physical grid model ionospheric was created this study. The model, known as EDG-DNN, utilizes DNN (deep neural network), its output displayed grid. preprocessed data are used construct training, validation, test sets. International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) chosen reference validation procedure since it predicts well. This work IRI-2016 version. produced more results when time location parameters were input. study compares provided by EDG-DNN assess merits latter. final reveal that has low-error strong stability, can represent global distribution structure density, some distinctive features distribution, well during quiet periods.

Tomographic Reconstruction of the Ionospheric Electron Density in term of Wavelets

Ionospheric tomography is a method to investigate the ionospheric electron density in two or three dimensions. In this study, the function-based tomographic technique has been used for regional reconstruction of a 3D tomographic model of the ionospheric electron density using the GPS measurements of the Iranian Permanent GPS Network. Two-dimensional Haar wavelets and empirical orthogonal functi...

Tomography of the ionospheric electron density with geostatistical inversion

In relation to satellite applications like global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and remote sensing, the electron density distribution of the ionosphere has significant influence on trans-ionospheric radio signal propagation. In this paper, we develop a novel ionospheric tomography approach providing the estimation of the electron density’s spatial covariance and based on a best linear unb...

Analysis of ionospheric electron density distribution from GPS/MET occultations

In this paper we present results from analysis of GPS/MET occultation data obtained from the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research database. We have used High-Rate occultation data to study the performance of an earlier 4D ionospheric electron content model|obtained tomographically with the use of the GPS constellation|with satisfactory results. In addition, we have processed UCAR Lev...

Ionospheric Electron Density Perturbations Driven by Seismic Tsunami-Excited Gravity Waves: Effect of Dynamo Electric Field

The effect of an ionospheric dynamo electric field on the electron density and total electron content (TEC) perturbations in the F layer (150–600 km altitudes) is investigated at two arbitrarily selected locations (noted as 29◦ N and 60◦ N in latitudes) in the presence of seismic tsunami-excited gravity waves propagating in a stratified, nondissipative atmosphere where vertical gradients of atm...
